“After reviewing the research on PAAG use, I was anxious to try this innovative product on a few select patients and follow them closely to assess response. In April of this year I had radiographed the knees of a two year old standardbred who had been a high-priced yearling. The left third carpal bone was profoundly lytic and the radial carpal bone was similarly deteriorated. Radiographs of the right carpus were not much different, maybe not quite as bad. After ruling out a great surgical prognosis, and discussions with the clients, we opted to try Noltrex®Vet in the affected joints. The colt went on to qualify and race in several major stake races over the course of the summer successfully.I also utilized Noltrex®Vet on a hind ankle and tarsometatarsal joints of my own filly , who I had locally anesthetized to isolate the lameness, and have not had to repeat these injections over a period of 4 months. I will continue to use Noltrex®Vet as a necessary tool in my practice.”
“Works well and delivers a sustained response in cases involving joint surface abnormalities, such as:
I’ve used Noltrex®Vet successfully in several navicular bursitis cases.”
“After 3 days he was more sound than he had been in 4-5 months After seven days this horse was quite sound and the owners are thrilled! We’ve seen effusion go down and the joint profile improve after injecting Noltrex®Vet and there are very few of these horses that we have gone back and injected again, particularly before 6, 9 or 12 months. We have had such good success with Noltrex®Vet, so far with zero side effects and no joint flares, that I’m happy to promote it and continue using it.”
